Our School
History
The first "Mafikeng Undenominational Public School was established on 7 August 1895 in the Public Hall on the corner of Main and Robinson Streets- on the site of the present Public Prosecutor - by Mr. W.J Pugh. In 1898 a new school was built near the eastern end of Main Street.
On 15 July 1915 a new building was opened on this site. It is presently the Primary School.The School obtained High School status in January 1932 and was separated from the Primary School with just over 100 learners. In 1937 the High School moved to its present location. Over the years the school building grew in at least seven phases. The second phase was completed when the school hall, the laboratories, the CAT class and the toilet block were taken into use.
