COMPUTER APPLICATIONS TECHNOLOGY
Computer Applications Technology is the study of the integrated parts of a computer system (hardware and software) and the real-world methods for using them effectively to address problems in daily life. By means of end-user applications such as spreadsheet, word processor etc. , problems are defined, handled, and processed. Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are then used to transmit the answers. ICTs are the networks, hardware, and software as well as the tools for engagement, collaboration, and communication that make it possible to process, manage, and share data, information, and knowledge.
This subject play a big role in preparing young people to respond to the requirements of the 4th industrial revolution, providing an opportunity to gain 21 century skills (Collaboration and team work, Creative and Innovative, Critical thinking, Problem solving) and contribute the world.
